Busty bully 'happy' to leave Big Brother house
Loudmouth Lesley said she was glad to be the second housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother house after an “awful” experience.
The busty sales co-ordinator and dance student had been the bookies’ hot favourite to be booted out of the Channel Four reality show, after her constant bullying of bikini-clad Sam.
The 19-year-old Huddersfield lass insisted “I am happy, I am happy” on hearing her name called out.
Dressed in her mini-skirted police uniform, with a plunging neckline and emblazoned with the name tag “Sergeant Sexy”, she emerged from the house to a chorus of boos from the waiting crowd.
She repeatedly struck her baton in her hand as she waited at the top of the stairs, before hugging supporters and posing for photographers.
Lesley later told host Davina McCall that she hoped arch-rival Sam would be the next to face the chop.
She said “the Big Brother experience wasn’t what I thought it would be”, agreed her time in the house was “awful”, and explained she had wanted to go as she had been ill, was in with people she didn’t like and missed her mummy.
And she guessed viewers had voted for her eviction: “I think it is because I went in there and I was a total bitch.
“I do speak my mind, that is the kind of person I am. If I think someone’s ugly I will tell them.”
But after watching a series of clips of her attacks on student Sam, she accepted it was “pretty hard” to watch, but then blamed the house for bringing out her worst side, saying: “While I was in the house, it did actually bring out the bad side of me, because I am not normally that harsh.
“I am harsh to people, but not that harsh.
“I mean I did know, after I said everything, I was like ‘Oh my God I feel really bad’ .... I did apologise a few times.”
Busty fellow housemate Saskia had been “alright in the end”, she had decided, while Derek had improved to being “quite lovely” from initially being “a bit of a snake”.
And Norfolk hairdresser Craig she loved “to bits – Craig is the best person you can meet”, but Vanessa – previously one of their close pals – had of late become “a pain in the neck”.
And she revealed her fortnight in the fly-on-the wall house had taught her many things.
“I have learned that I will respect my parents a lot more than what I did.
“I respect things such as a washing machine and an iron – God, I hated washing my knickers on that thing ....
“And I’m going to respect food and alcohol, really bad, I will seriously.
“I will be like this with a Chicken Twister, me, I’ll be chewing every bit. Oh God.
“And not drink cider. Oh, I hate cider.”
In the aftermath of the eviction, Craig bemoaned the loss of his best friend in the house.
He told the Diary Room: “She’s one of the nicest people in here. Now she’s gone I won’t be able to enjoy it so much.”
Craig then sloped off to bed to cry on his pillow.
All the remaining 12 housemates had been nominated for last night’s eviction after student Vanessa broke the show’s cardinal rule and discussed voting.
Despite the number of nominees up for the poll, the unpopular Lesley received 36% of the total votes cast.
She had previously been warned she would be booted out if she continued her personal vendetta against Sam.
The pair constantly clashed this week as the feisty sales rep caused most of the aggravation.

What's a Little Spanking Among Friends?
JACKSONVILLE, Ark. (AP) — Three strippers and two nightclub managers have been arrested for allegedly spanking a trucker at his 31st birthday bash and severely bruising his backside.
After his friends paid $25, Keith Lowery was handcuffed and spanked with a 3-foot-long paddle and a belt while one of the strippers restrained his head with her legs, investigators with the Pulaski County (search) Sheriff's Office said.
Kelly Eslick, 21, a stripper at Sensations nightclub in Jacksonville admitted to police that she used a paddle drilled with holes for less air resistance while the two other dancers, Lisa Nolen, 23, and Charlene Smith, 23, used the belt.
The three women were charged with misdemeanor battery, and they and two other club employees — James Daugherty, 31, and Dena Mitchell, 30 — were charged with participating in an obscene performance at a live public show, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
Daugherty had planned to have patrons sign a waiver releasing the club from liability, but investigators said the club has agreed to discontinue all spankings.
All five club employees were arraigned Friday, then released after receiving an Aug. 4 court date in Pulaski County District Court.

NINE years ago, all Posh, Geri, Baby, Scary and Sporty wanted was to party with their mates and zigazig ah.
No Spice Girl is an island
Now, they want to make a comeback record or two and thereby create interest in a greatest hits album and reclaim their rightful place as the world’s most hyped and least talented band.
But first, as the Sun explains, the girls need some new names. If you looked into a pram and saw Emma Bunton staring back at you, you’d run screaming to the nearest secure unit. So, she’s no longer Baby, she’s “Aren’t You A Bit Old For That Spice”.
And so it goes on. Posh is “Too Posh To Push Spice”, Scary, still scary, is “Skint Spice”, yo-yo weight watcher Geri Halliwell is “Binger Spice” and the screaming Sporty is “The One It Turned Out Could Sing (A Bit) Spice”.
And they’re all set to reunite for a couple of new singles released next year to mark a decade since their debut single Wannabe shot to No.1 in the charts.
But they will not appear together. The Suns says that after a series of “bust ups”, the fivesome are each recording bits of the songs in different parts of he world. As a source says: “The girls are in different countries and couldn’t agree on a place to meet. There’s tension.”
And since tension is no good for the vocals, we dread to think of what affect the rift will have on the girls’ performances.
But producers Stannard and Rowe will gather in the bits of songs, the the odd right note, the many thong-clad bum ones, and “stitch the vocals together” into a song Frankenstein would have been proud to call his own.
And will make us wonder what it was we ever saw in the act...

Hanging by a thread http://www.eastbayri.com/story/283744463506482.php
You've heard it before. "No pain, no gain." "It's painful to be beautiful." For centuries, women have accepted this as fact, whether by trying to force their curvaceous bodies into tight, blood-sucking corsets or girdles or by waxing their legs, eyebrows, bikini lines, etc. to remove all unwanted hair.
Hanging by a thread
You've heard it before. "No pain, no gain." "It's painful to be beautiful." For centuries, women have accepted this as fact, whether by trying to force their curvaceous bodies into tight, blood-sucking corsets or girdles or by waxing their legs, eyebrows, bikini lines, etc. to remove all unwanted hair. There is no such thing as too much pain when it comes to perfecting the body's appearance ... right?
You know you've done it. Most women, and even a lot of men, have. You make the trip to the salon and sit back in the always-uncomfortable chair. Head back, eyes closed, you try not to think about what is about to happen to you. You know once it's over, you'll look great, but, oh, the process!
The technician leans over you, her eyes filled with a combination of sympathy (she's a woman, she's had it done, too!) and superiority. The hot wax almost burns a bit as she "paints" it on your brow, which by this time is starting to sweat in anticipation of what is to come. Her able fingers smooth the canvas cloth repeatedly over the wax, to make sure it adheres to the skin. The act is almost soothing. Almost.
"Are you ready?" she asks, a hint of doom in her expert voice. She's done this before, countless times. You grip the edge of your seat, clamping down your teeth as you probably mutter, "Almost over, almost over," repeatedly to yourself. Then....rrrrriiiiiiiiippppppppppp!
Her arm flies over your head, taking the canvas cloth, the hot wax, your unwanted eyebrow hair and about two layers of your precious skin with it. No, it's not like removing a Band-Aid really fast. It's kind of like Chinese water torture, only no water, extra torture.
Ah, waxing. One of the many rituals women suffer through to make themselves more beautiful. While any area can be waxed (we're not going to go there), the eyebrows and face are the most common. They're also the areas that other people see the most. The eyebrows are the frame of our face, and whether you wax, pluck, get electrolysis, or (gasp!) shave, chances are you're doing something to maintain them.
Well, now there's another way to remove unwanted facial hair and you know what? It doesn't hurt. No, really. Fast, inexpensive, safe and effective, threading is a method of removing hair at the root that has been practiced in East Asia and the Middle East for centuries, and one that is gaining popularity across the United States as more and more women discover that beauty and pain do not have to go hand-in-hand.
You do what with the thread?!
Despite its name, threading has absolutely no connection to sewing at all. Note: No needles. Just 100 percent cotton thread. How, you ask, does a piece of thread remove the stubborn hairs that I spend hours a week plucking? Easy.
The thread is knotted, leaving three ends. One end in each of the technician's hands and one end in her mouth, to create resistance. By knotting the thread and creating a trap, hairs are caught and forced out by the root. The technician makes a rapid back and forth movement with the thread, removing the hair quickly and efficiently. Depending on the client's needs, the hair can be removed individually, or a few at a time.
The process is very meticulous, allowing the technician to remove hair from between the brows, as well as under and above the arch. The careful movement lets the technician shape each brow, removing as much or as little hair as necessary or desired.
Those who have never touched their eyebrows with any hair removal method may experience a slight pinching or stinging sensation, and possibly a little bumpiness or redness immediately following the procedure. This is generally no more painful than what you may experience after plucking on your own or having your brows waxed at the salon.
The process itself, depending on how much of your face you get done, generally takes less than 10 minutes, and the results are immediate. If you think you might be a little more sensitive to pain, a numbing solution can be sprayed on your brow to decrease the sting, and hydrocortisone cream applied immediately after will reduce any redness or bumps.
Closer than you think
Threading is already a common practice in larger cities like Los Angeles and New York. But there are a few salons in Rhode Island that are offering the service to their customers. Le Mani Capelli in Warren is one of those salons.
Tammy Munroe has owned and operated the salon at 175 Main St. for six years, offering hairdressing and waxing to her customers. On Memorial Day of last year, a unique way to expand her business basically just fell into her lap.
As she was planting flowers outside the corner shop, she got talking to Sanju Kohli, who was walking her infant son. Ms. Kohli struck up a conversation about the salon and introduced Ms. Munroe to threading. Never having heard of the practice before, Ms. Munroe said she was very surprised at how effective it really was.
"As soon as she demonstrated it, I was like, 'Wow!' " she recalls. "I couldn't believe how well it worked."
Shortly after their encounter, Ms. Kohli's sister, Gina, began offering threading through Le Mani Capelli, followed after a few months by Ms. Kohli herself. Now just the two of them and one other hairdresser, Ms. Munroe and Ms. Kohli make quite the team, introducing both men and women around the East Bay to a new, less invasive way to look beautiful.
"This takes care of the finer hairs, so you don't have to do it as often as tweezing or waxing," Ms. Munroe explains. "I offer waxing, too, but this is better for your skin. With waxing, you're taking the top layer of skin off. Threading also gives you a better shape because it's more precise. Some people are afraid to try it, because they think you're using a needle and thread, but it's not like that at all."
A tradition, crossing cultures
Ms. Kohli learned the art of threading when she was a teenager back in her native India, and she says the practice itself originated in East Asia centuries ago.
"Women in India never wax their eyebrows," Ms. Kohli explains, as she prepares her next customer, lightly brushing baby powder over the eyebrows to soak up some of the oils on the face. "Waxing is unheard of in India. It's not like it is here."
Threading, according to Ms. Kohli, is more than just simply removing hair.
"It's much more involved. It's about looking at the whole picture, the whole face, and taking into account all of the different angles and shapes," she says. "You have to shape the eyebrows to match the whole face. This is why I like to give a lot of time to my clients."
Although threading is gaining popularity, it is not spreading as quickly as some might hope because the skill is so difficult to teach, Ms. Kohli says. It takes a lot of practice to perfect, and a lot of cosmetology schools aren't offering it to students. Mainly women like Ms. Kohli and others from the Middle East who are so familiar with the practice are able to offer it in salons.
Any skin type, any age, any time
Threading is a good hair removal option for anyone, regardless of age and skin type. Because it is non-invasive, it is safe for anyone to try, even if you are using acne medications. Ms. Munroe says the youngest threading client at Le Mani Capelli is 11 years old, while the oldest is 95.
Claire Almada, 60, of Bristol is also a client. She's been having threading done for almost a year and says she'll never go back to her old ways.
"I've done it all — waxing, tweezing. I was tweezer-happy," Ms. Almada explains with a chuckle. "This is way more precise than waxing. I was a little leery about getting other parts of my face done, because I'd never waxed or done anything, other than my eyebrows. But I was surprised that it didn't hurt. Now I get it all done, about every four weeks. There's no maintenance, nothing. It's great."
Mollie Francis, 20, of Warren agrees. She tried it out of sheer curiosity, loved it, and even convinced her boyfriend, 25-year-old Josh Landskroner, to try it.
"I heard it was better than waxing, so I tried it out of curiosity," Miss Francis explains. "Then both my sisters ended up coming and I dragged my boyfriend. It's so quick and painless, so low maintenance. You don't have to do anything in between. Josh isn't ashamed to do it, he's even convinced his friends to do it."
"I'm definitely telling the guys about it," Mr. Landskroner says with a smile. "I've been doing it for about four months now."
"You can't go in and tell Sanju, 'I want my eyebrows to look like this,' " Miss Francis says knowingly. "She does it according to your face. She matches your brows to fit your face."
Depending on your skin type and how fast your hair grows, you can expect your threading to last anywhere from two weeks to five weeks. At Le Mani Capelli, the charge for eyebrows is $10; lip is $5; chin $2 to $3; and about $22-$25 for the full face.
Are you ready to give up waxing and tweezing for threading?
Threading has been around for centuries, but has only recently begun to gain popularity in the U.S.
* What is it?
Threading is a method of removing facial hair at the root. Rows of stray hairs are yanked out with twists of cotton thread.
* How does it work?
The technician holds one end of the thread in her teeth and the other in her left hand. The middle is looped through the index and middle fingers on the right hand. The technician then uses the loop to trap a series of unwanted hairs and pull them from the skin.
* Advantages
This method is inexpensive, quick, neat and often times less painful than tweezing or waxing. Results can last up to two to four weeks.
* Disadvantages
Outside large cities, the popularity has not caught on as much, so not many salons offer the treatment. For some, the process can be painful or cause itching. Possible side effects are similar to those for tweezing and waxing and may include temporary skin redness or puffiness or folliculitis, an infection of the hair follicles.
So you want to try it?
Le Mani Capelli is one of the few salons in the area offering threading. The salon offers threading Tuesday through Friday, from noon to 5 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Depending on your skin type and how fast your hair grows, you can expect your threading to last anywhere from two weeks to five weeks. The charge for eyebrows is $10; lip is $5; chin $2 to $3; and about $22-$25 for the full face.
