Last week, the front page of real.time reported that the documentary 'Sua Ronghai', or 'Crying Tigers', is "the first documentary to get a theatrical release in Thailand". I was a bit rash. 'Crying Tigers' should be credited as "the first Thai documentary to get a wide commercial release by a studio".
